After nearly falling over and damaging both of my knees a couple of years ago I was extremely lucky to be referred to Mr Bailey. His care given to me with understanding and humour has been exceptional. After an arthroscopy on each knee it was decided I needed both of my knees totally replaced. Each arthroscopy was done as a day case, but for the knee replacements I was an inpatient; Mr Bailey's care was fantastic visiting me in my room after after my operation and each day until discharged to check all was well and that I was not to uncomfortable. My thanks to him and all of his team for getting my life back on track; after just 8 weeks from my second knee being replaced I have once again started walking instead of going everywhere by car and I am now back playing golf, albeit not 18 holes yet but I am getting there!! I can only sing Mr Bailey's praises. I have made a good recovery from my shoulder operation and I am back to competitive sport. I was really pleased with how my pain was managed and the care shown to me. Mr Bailey was happy to answer my many questions which I really appreciated.

You could not be in better hands than Mr Bailey, very professional and caring. I was so nervous before my operation but Mr Bailey was so understanding. Fantastic service from Mr Bailey and the Nuffield team.

Hello, Since Sept 2015 I have had an Arthroscopy on both my knees - performed by Mr C Bailey at the Wessex Nuffield hospital. Both procedures have, I believe, been very successful having now no pain in my knees and walking improving daily. I commend Mr B on his excellent briefing, overall care, keeping me informed in a timely manner both pre and post operations. If I need orthopaedic treatment in the future I would hope that Mr B would be available to attend me. Overall, an excellent experience, Mr B being so patient and putting me at ease throughout.
